Real Estate Support VA

Learn how a real estate professional operates, and how an entry-level VA can support that work — administratively, accurately, and safely within a clear role boundary.

Before You Start

No login is required. You can start learning right away.

Your course progress and saved activities are automatically saved on the device and browser you are using right now — nothing is sent to an account or a server.

For the best experience, keep using the same device and browser while you take this course.

Important:

You can close this course and come back later using the same device and browser, and your saved progress should still be there.

By the end of this course, you'll be able to

Understand the real estate support environment and where a VA fits in it

Organize CRM, listing, research, calendar, and transaction information

Follow client instructions and SOPs instead of guessing

Recognize conflicting, missing, or unclear information

Apply Act / Clarify / Verify / Escalate to real support decisions

Work safely within role boundaries and confidentiality expectations

Adapt to a client's own tools and systems, not just one

Complete a realistic end-to-end support simulation

This course builds competence, not just familiarity with real estate terms. It is deliberately focused on support work — not sales, licensing, investing, valuation, legal practice, negotiation, or transaction decision-making.

One framework, used everywhere in this course

Every module comes back to the same four-way decision. Learning to tell these apart — quickly and correctly — is most of what makes a support VA reliable.

ACT

Clear, sufficient, within your role — do it.

CLARIFY

Incomplete or ambiguous — ask before acting.

VERIFY

Conflicting or uncertain — check the source of truth.

ESCALATE

Needs judgment or authority outside your role.

How work is tagged throughout the course

PRACTICE

Work you complete while learning. Builds confidence — not submitted for certification.

PORTFOLIO EVIDENCE

Selected work that demonstrates a competency and becomes part of your final certification portfolio.

CAPSTONE

Work that forms part of the integrated Module 8 simulation and is submitted as final capstone evidence.

LEARNING ARTIFACT

Required course work that supports learning but is not scored for certification.

The course

Eight modules, in order, followed by a separate final certification stage. Each module builds on the last — the Module 8 simulation and your final portfolio both draw directly on work from Modules 1–7.

  1. Not started

    Understanding Real Estate Support Work

What the work is, where a VA fits, and how to decide Act / Clarify / Verify / Escalate — before touching any specialized task.

  2. Not started

    Real Estate Administrative Support

Workspace setup, email, calendars and U.S. time zones, file organization, task tracking, and the Standard Status Report Template.

  3. Not started

    CRM & Lead Management

Contacts, leads, and pipeline records — accuracy, data hygiene, and staying out of decisions that aren't yours to make.

  4. Not started

    Listing Support

Listing data, statuses, QA, assets, descriptions, and fair housing awareness.

  5. Not started

    Real Estate Research

Property and neighborhood research, source verification, and where research ends and professional valuation begins.

  6. Not started

    Transaction Support

Tracking a real transaction — documents, deadlines, missing information, and the Sarah Mitchell / 1234 Oak Street scenario.

  7. Not started

Working With Real Estate Tools & Client Systems

Why clients use different systems, and how to learn one you've never seen before — using the fictional OakDesk system.

  8. Not started

    Real Estate Support VA Simulation

An integrated, end-to-end client handoff that pulls together everything from Modules 1–7 — your first client assignment.

  9. Not started

Final: Portfolio Submission & Competency Review

A separate final stage — not another module. Submit your eight-item portfolio and see how it's reviewed.
